Amazon FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) is a business model that utilizes Amazon’s resources. It involves researching and finding a profitable product with high demand & low competition to create your own brand (It is similar to printing a logo on a T-Shirt and reselling it). 

This is called private labeling. Once a product has been sourced and decided upon (and it meets all the criteria you need to make a product profitable), you outsource the product from a manufacturer/supplier, purchase inventory, packaging, and work with a supplier to ship the inventory to an Amazon Warehouse.

When the product is listed on Amazon and you make a sale, Amazon does all the shipping, packing, and returns for you!  You sit back and manage the sales from your computer, it is completely hands off and because you are now  leveraging Amazon’s thousands of employees and huge warehouses, it makes this a passive income business.
